In The Begining

Where to start that’s the problem.

We are taking on a project that Des started but unfortunately had to give up after his partner got seasick in the coach due to the airbag suspension.  He found this out after they had two outings in it both trips were from Whyalla to Blinman,  so this is how we ended up with our dream or could it be the start of a nightmare….lol.

Our coach the day we drove it home from Whyalla to Leigh Creek S.A

Just a big empty box. They did have a bed in here with a shower and toilet to get the Rego as a caravan vehicle.

So the fun begins

So as we work on making our dream to come true,  we will be keeping you updating on how it all go’s, the good the bad and the ugly.  This project started all the way back  October 2015,the day we pick it up and  brought it home  (Leigh Creek, South Australia).  So as you can see it has been a slow start, due to a two factors, one is living in remote areas like the Flinders Ranges S.A. & Yulara N.T. Two is working so many hours that we had no time to get it started.

Things done before we started to Blog

Up to our current time line we have done some work on the coach, this being:

  • Part of the roof, rust and water proofing
  • Bedroom floor and first stage of the walls
  • Bedroom windows in
  • Air conditioning venting on the outside bin door
  • Modified the diesel in tank filter

Keep your eye’s on up coming blog’s on the details of the work being done in the next week and months….
